Somana is a mental wellness companion that helps you build a daily practice through meditation, breathwork, journaling, and mood tracking.
Choose from quiet meditation with a timer, guided breathing exercises, or music-based sessions. Set your preferred duration and soundscape.
Follow guided breathing patterns designed to reduce anxiety and promote calm. Haptic feedback on supported devices helps you stay in rhythm without watching the screen.
Write freely or use smart prompts to reflect on your day. You can also record voice journals. All journal content stays on your device and is never uploaded.
Log how you are feeling each day. Over time, the colour-coded calendar shows your patterns and trends.
Complete validated assessments (PHQ-9, GAD-7, WHO-5) to track your mental health over time. These are the same tools used by healthcare professionals worldwide.
On the login screen, tap "Forgot password?" and enter your email address. You will receive a link to reset your password.

On supported devices, you can enable Face ID or fingerprint login from Settings for quicker access.
You can request account deletion at any time. Contact us and we will remove your account and all associated data from our servers.
Journal entries and voice recordings are stored only on your device. They are never transmitted to or stored on our servers. Only anonymised metadata - such as dates, mood scores, and activity flags - is stored on our servers.
Your email address, mood scores, clinical assessment results, meditation session records, and engagement metadata. Never your journal text or voice recordings.
Your account data (mood scores, assessments, session history) will sync to your new device when you log in. However, journal entries and voice recordings are stored locally and will not transfer automatically.

If you work with a therapist or healthcare professional, Somana can help you get more from your sessions by sharing your progress data securely.
Your healthcare provider creates a unique linking code within their Somana dashboard. You enter this code in your Settings to establish the connection. You can unlink at any time.
Your provider can view your engagement patterns, mood scores, clinical assessment results, and session activity. They can never see your journal entries or voice recordings - these stay on your device.
Yes. You can disconnect from your healthcare provider at any time through your Settings. Once unlinked, they will no longer have access to your data.
No. Somana is a wellness and treatment-support tool designed to complement professional care, not replace it. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Somana offers both free and premium subscription options. Core wellness tools are available to all users.
Some features work offline, including accessing previously loaded content. An internet connection is needed for syncing data, completing assessments, and logging in.
Somana is available on iPhone (iOS 16 and later) and Android devices. You can also access the web version from any modern browser.
